Highland's circular knit fabrics are widely used as reinforcement for automotive door panels and seat trim where stretch control, flame resistance, and strength are critical. Expanded vinyl, PVC, and other polymers are applied to our base fabric to create a coated fabric that can be molded, cut, and formed into parts for cars, trucks, SUVs, and school buses. There's a good chance the door panel and seat trim in your vehicle is supported by Highland's circular knit.
Using the same quality and innovation principles, Highland also manufactures material for clean room wipes. By engineering circular knit fabrics and finishes specific for wipes, Highland produces materials with exacting levels of particle count and absorbency to meet the demanding needs of this industry. Highland wipe materials are used in medical, pharmaceutical, circuit board and other end-use applications where design, control, and innovation are simply the expectation.
In addition to these successful lines, Highland has the capability of producing fleece fabrics, filtration fabric, sports apparel, and contract upholstery knits. We have the ability to process a variety of fiber types and finishes including polypropylene, nylon, polyester, rayons and all spun fibers.
